Golden plaques for the best university students

The Rector of the Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegović, along with vice-rectors, deans of faculties, heads of university studies, and the advisor to the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of HNK, attended the solemn ceremony where they awarded gold plaques to the best students of the University in the academic year 2022/2023. The Student Union of the Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar - UNMO traditionally organizes this event.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Kenan Begović, the president of the Student Union, presented a charter adorned with the gold emblem of the Student Union to the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegović, on behalf of the students. This gesture symbolized gratitude for her constant contribution and support to students, the work of the Student Union, and the improvement of the student standard.

The Rector, Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegović, conveyed congratulations to the outstanding students, emphasizing, "You are the golden students of our University. Achieving such success requires a lot of learning, persistence, sleepless nights, and sacrifices. The knowledge you have gained is a power that no one can take away from you. Knowledge provides you with security, stability, self-confidence, protection, the ability to perform your future job conscientiously and responsibly, to cope with life's problems, and most importantly, to stay on the path of justice regardless of the various circumstances and obstacles you may encounter. It is expected from you, the best students of our University, to be the catalysts of economic, cultural, political, moral, and other positive changes in society, to stay in our homeland and make it a better place to live."
