VIRAL hackathon, organized by project partners through the project of the same name co-financed by the European Union (through the Erasmus + program) will be held from Thursday, 12.5. until Saturday, May 14, 2022 years.
This year's edition of the hackathon is regional and will be held in the Agency for Economic Development of the City of Prijedor (PREDA).
During 48 hours, all participants will have the opportunity, with the help of experienced mentors, to work on the development of a mobile application.
The application will solve the challenge of climate optimization in production facilities - sensor data collection, autonomous regulation, and management.
Participants will be able to use additional equipment (Raspberry Pi and Micro Bit devices) to improve their solutions.
The teams will present their ideas before the expert commission, best will be awarded valuable prizes provided by the Ministry of Agriculture of Republika Srpska, the Administration of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Plant Protection, City of Mostar, Agrimatco, and Virgin Pulse, as well as many other friends of the event.
Project partners bear the costs of transportation, accommodation, and all meals for participants.
Džemal Bijedić University represents the AgroFIT (4 members) team, with two students from the Faculty of Agro-Mediterranean and two from the Faculty of Information Technology.
