UNIGEM project : Gender equality

In Sarajevo from March 15 to 18, 2022. year, TPO Foundation held a training on gender equality and implementation of the UNIGEM project, for representatives of partner institutions. Members of the Council for Gender Equality at the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the administrative staff of the University also actively participated in this activity.

According to the signed Memorandum of Cooperation, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar and the Transcultural Psychosocial Education Foundation (TPO) are implementing the University and Gender Mainstreaming (UNIGEM) project, with the support of the UK Government, to prevent and combat gender-based violence. discrimination and sexual harassment and ensuring integrity and quality in higher education.

The UNIGEM project represents the strategic commitment of the university. The goal of the project is to introduce a gender perspective, ensure gender equality and a safe environment for teachers as well as students at universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

18 universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro are participating in the project.
