New Rector of the University elected
Prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegović, a full professor at the Faculty of Law, took over the position of Rector of the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar.
The new rector in this position succeeded prof. dr. Elvira Zlomusica.
Alena Huseinbegović was born in 1973 in Mostar, where she completed primary and secondary education. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Dzemal Bijedic University in 1998, and in 1999 she was elected an assistant in the subjects of Commercial Law and Civil Procedure Law.
She received her master's degree in 2007 from the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo. In the same year, she was elected a senior assistant at the Faculty of Law, Dzemal Bijedic University in Mostar. She obtained the degree of Doctor of Laws at the Faculty of Law, the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar in 2010, successfully defending her doctoral dissertation entitled "Principles of Civil Enforcement Procedure".
Members of the University Senate congratulated prof. Dr. Alena Huseinbegovic on the appointment and wished her happy and successful work in the future.
