KALCEA project: Visit TU Vienna
Representatives of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering attended a workshop at the Technical University in Vienna.
Foreseen as the activity within the WP 3, the workshop aimed to transfer the knowledge to the staff of the Western Balkan partner universities on how to establish a Knowledge and Innovation Centre - KIC. During a five days long workshop, participants were introduced to the work of such centers in Austria and EU but also with all the procedures and documents necessary to set up the Centre.
According to the project, KIC will be established within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering by the end of 2022. The task of the center will be to intensify the cooperation between the University and industrial sector, but also to organize courses in the field of energetics, renewable sources of energy as well as the green economy in general.
