The University management held a meeting with representatives of the executive and legislative authorities

A meeting was held in the rectory of the University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, attended by representatives of the University:

  • rector prof. Ph.D. Alena Huseinbegović together with vice-rectors,
  • Edin Mušić, a representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
    prof. Ph.D.
  • Rašid Hadžović, Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the HNK,
  • Adnan Faladžić, Minister of Finance of the HNK,
  • Džafer Alić, President of the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Mostar,
  • Alisa Hajdarović, a representative in the Assembly of the HNK and delegate in the House of Peoples of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and
  • Haris Baljić, adviser to the chairman of the Assembly of the Croatian National Assembly.

Rector Huseinbegović introduced the guests to the University's development plan, plans for the next period, the results of the first enrollment period, the works necessary to put the student dormitory into operation, and the necessary construction of infrastructure, as well as the University's financing issues. The rector thanked for the long-term support and help in the development of Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar.


The guests thanked for the invitation and hospitality, sent sincere congratulations, and wished successful work to the new management of the University. They also expressed their willingness to provide significant support for the further development of the University.
