International Scientific Conference Philological Encounters
Professor Edina Spago-Cumurija participated in the International Scientific Conference Philological Encounters 6, which was held in Sarajevo, on October 28, 2021. year, organized by the Bosnian Philological Society, in co-organization with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. The conference brings together scholars in the field of linguistics and literature, from across the region.
This year, due to the pandemic, a small number of scientists gathered, and the topics of the paper included the communicative perspective of the language, the characteristics of Bosnian medieval manuscripts, syntax, globalization, and other issues of interest in the field of philology.
Professor Spago-Cumurija presented research on language changes that occur on social networks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the contact of Bosnian and English.
