VIRAL: Spring brings three hackathons in Banja Luka, Mostar and Niksic

In the second half of May, a hackathon will be organized in Banja Luka, Mostar, and Niksic. Participants can apply the knowledge they acquired during their university education, and try to solve problems faced by companies from the agricultural sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. During the hackathon, the focus will be on the application of information technology through the development of software and/or hardware solutions. Teams will work for 48 hours to create ideas and solutions. Teams will be composed of students from the faculties involved in the implementation of the project. At the Innovation Center Banja Luka, INTERA Technology Park, and Innovation Entrepreneurship Center Technopolis, participants will work on the development of solutions with the help of mentors from different fields.

Hackathons, organized through the VIRAL project co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus + program. The leader of the VIRAL project is the University of Banja Luka, and the project is implemented by Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, the University of Mostar, University of Tuzla, University of Bijeljina, University of Donja Gorica, University of Wageningen, University of Maribor, University of Bucharest, Agro-voce, Jaffa-komerc, Plantations July 13, Western Balkans Institute, Innovation Center Banja Luka, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Technopolis, INTERA Technology Park and the Montenegrin Association for New Technologies MANT.
