Members of student organisation BEST Mostar, used this weekend to spend some time away from their academic responsibilities, have fun and learn something new.
During these two days, members had a chance to learn more about Conflict solving, Fund Raising, Online communication tools and work on their web page. Alumni members shared how being a part of BEST Mostar helped them in their lives and at their workplace during one of the sessions.
BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organisation. Since 1989 it provides communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe. With 93 local sections in 34 countries, BEST strives to gather students, universities and companies together.
BEST helps students to achieve an international mindset, to reach a better understanding of cultures and societies and to develop the capacity to work in culturally diverse environments. It also creates opportunities for personal development of students and supports them in reaching their full potential.
BEST Mostar is the only LBG (Local BEST Group) in Bosnia and Herzegovina that is providing non-formal education for students, not only in Mostar but country-wise. Being able to easily adapt to difficult situations, this pandemic did not stop them to organise an event called "HackAtHome" for 200+ students, with 10 experienced lecturers (soft and hard skills), jobfair with amazing companies and hackathon as the final touch.
Since their webpage is undergoing some changes right now, feel free to contact them and follow their social media channels instagram and facebook.
BEST Mostar can also be reached via their office at "Dzemal Bijedic" University of Mostar.
