The students with wings

"The students with wings“ is a marketing project of a group of students of the Tourism studies of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar. Students Jenet Tanovic, Lejla Fazlinovic, and Safije Jasari gave their Faculty the entire marketing strategy and campaign created in collaboration with teaching staff in the subject of Marketing in Tourism.

Jenet Tanovic, a participant in the project, emphasized: ''The Tourism studies are a study programme that provides a large number of opportunities. This marketing project is the result of the studies. We tried to put a lot of energy, imagination, and effort into presenting the study programme with dignity and showing that success is closely linked to the effort.“

The focus of the project was high school students who found themselves at the crossroads of further study choices. The idea was to give them self-confidence, inspiration, and support as a "wing symbol", which each person gains upon graduation since those wings are the reflection of the knowledge, personality, and character.

Janet also said that their intent was to pass on the wings to every future student because wings erase all boundaries. She invited future students to take their wings and be the best version of themselves.

Lejla Fazlinovic emphasized: “Mostar is a city of tourism and the opportunities that are open to us after graduation are multiple and amazing. Many believe that there are no jobs after graduation and that jobs related to this particular study programme are limited. But this is simply not true. Yes, this study programme is relatively new, founded only a few years ago, but I can assure you that the curriculum is maximally developed and adapted to students. Participating in an important project for the promotion of the study programme was a great honour and pleasure for me. I was finally able, at least in this way, to reciprocate for all the knowledge and skills I have acquired and am acquiring. I am sure that I will be able to use my wings. “

Safije Jasari did not hide her enthusiasm for working on this marketing project: "When we took this project, I immediately remembered myself as a graduate, looking for my path in a sea of questions, doubts, with great choices of faculties. The first question I asked myself was, “What after graduation”? "What opportunities do I have after graduation, which one will I choose?" So, my colleagues and I decided to ask the graduates in Mostar what their insecurities are, and what they expect from this new step. We have analyzed all their questions, and we think that the Tourism studies provide answers and solutions to all the uncertainty and fears they might encounter at this stage in their life. "
