Sarajevo Innovations Festival - SIFI is a competition of student works that brings together students of technical faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region and was founded in 2016 by the then board of directors of Steleks. In addition to the presentation of student papers, which is competitive, it also has an educational character in the form of lectures and workshops organized within the SIFI on various topics related to students and science in general.
The goal of SIFI is to encourage students to be innovative, to write papers, and for SIFI to become a kind of fair of technology and science, which will benefit both students and companies participating in SIFI.
By submitting scientific papers, participants are evaluated by reviewers, prominent professors, and experts in the field of technique and technology, based on whose evaluations a decision is made as to which papers will have a chance to be presented at the competition. During the competition, the commission evaluates the works of all participants according to the following criteria:
1. Applicability
2. Innovation
3. Compliance with IEEE format
4. Presentation
Based on the sum of all grades, a ranking list is formed, and the best papers are awarded.
