Arturo Falaschi ICGEB scholarship programme gives scholarships to scientists from member countries in Trieste, New Delhi or Cape Town. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a member of ICGEB. This programme offers PhD, post-doctoral and short-term research and SMART scholarships.

PhD study programme in the field of natural sciences is a three-year long study programme that includes intensive research work in laboratories, participation in seminars and communicational training during “Journal Club” meeting, symposiums and international meetings. Deadline for applications is March 31, 2019.

Post-doctoral study programme in the field of natural sciences is intended for scientists interested in post-doctoral research in reputable/eminent institutes. The scholarship includes health insurance and additional benefits. The most successful candidates will be able to apply for research grants for financial support after return to their home institutions. Deadline for applications id March 31 and September 30, 2019.

Short – term research programme enables pre-PhD and post- doctoral studies in ICGEB’s laboratories for financing current common/shared research work between scientist from ICGEB member countries and research groups in ICGEB’s laboratories in Trieste, New Delhi and Cape Town. The aim is to facilitate the access to the newest research techniques and to strengthen the capacity building.

ICGEB SMART scholarship programme promotes mobility of researchers between countries members of ICGEB in a way that it improves skills development, having practical work in new technologies and growing bilateral cooperation in science and technology. The application deadline for short – term and SMART scholarships is March 31, 2019 and September 30, 2019.
