Seymanur’s Classroom Adventures Abroad

My name is Seymanur, and I came to Mostar from Turkey through the Erasmus+ programme, arriving from Atatürk University at the Faculty of Humanities, Department of English Language and Literature at the Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar.

As part of our university classes, we participated in several workshops and conducted interviews, and I particularly enjoyed all of them, especially working with the kindergarten children. It was a great experience for me, and having the chance to work with children from a different culture made me happy.

We taught the lesson as a group of three, and by supporting each other, we managed to present it nicely through games and fun activities. At first, we were a bit unsure about whether we could handle the kids, but after seeing how calm and sweet they were, we started to feel more comfortable and adapted very quickly.

This experience significantly contributed to the development of my pedagogical approach.
