From February 4th to 9th, 2024, students from the Department of Sports and Health, Faculty of Education at Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar had the privilege of embarking on a field trip for their "Skiing I" and "Skiing II" courses at the beautiful Bjelašnica mountain.
This field trip wasn't just any ordinary journey; it provided students with the opportunity to gain practical experience and refine their skiing skills. From mastering basic steps for beginners to tackling advanced techniques for fourth-year students, they confronted various challenges and successfully overcame them.
We are particularly proud to have hosted two exchange students as part of the Erasmus exchange program, Agnese Bartoli and Micol Tagliarini. Agnese successfully mastered the basic skiing techniques during this trip, while Micol, already an experienced skier, shared her knowledge and experience with fellow students.
Alpine skiing offers more than just physical activity; it allows individuals to connect with nature, challenge themselves, and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes that mountains offer. Witnessing the progress and enthusiasm of students during this trip was incredibly inspiring.
We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to provide this unique field trip to our students, and we hope that this experience will be deeply ingrained in their memories. We eagerly anticipate future field trips and new opportunities for international collaboration.
