International Summer School Mostar in the field of international human rights and social entrepreneurship is a project Dzemal Bijedic University is implementing together with the University of southeastern Norway and the University of Mostar.  Since 2012, Mostar is welcoming students from Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries.  Lecturers Lars Peter Soltvedt and Arnt Farbu encourage students to challenge their English language knowledge in an interactive environment and to gain practical skills in a multinational team what will help them in their professional development.

Summer schools are a good way for students to boost their self-confidence, to develop their language skills by adopting the vocabulary that is specific to their future profession. Summer schools are an excellent tool to learn about a course the student might be interested in but that is not offered at his/her University, to develop skills and stimulate curiosity, creativity, and self-reliance the abilities needed to succeed in competitive professional settings.   Summer school courses can be considered as a way to prepare for various university entrance exams abroad. In a highly competitive academic environment, any evidence of interest in the subject matter will prove the commitment to excelling in your academic pursuits.

While attending a summer school student has the opportunity to make new friends, to study abroad and learn about the culture of the host country, to travel, have fun and enjoy the international spirit of the school.
