Through the work of International Relations Office, University creates an atmosphere where the students will feel safe to cross the border of average and step into the world of science that does not recognise any kind of limitation and that does not accept fear of failure, having in mind that precisely the students should be bearers of the change.

Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar carries out international and inter-university cooperation in the framework of bilateral agreements, international university networks, international projects of the European Commission and other activities.

The University has signed bilateral cooperation agreements with 32 universities from 19 countries. We emphasize the participation of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar in the Erasmus programme, within which we implement the international exchange of students, teaching and non-teaching staff. Over the last 4 years, we have signed more than 30 Erasmus agreements. They are an excellent foundation for developing international cooperation, which will lead to increase of scientific and research projects as well as to the organization of joint conferences and summer schools.

Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar participates in the work of following networks:

EUA – European University Association– representative of European Universities and state rectoral conferences, an umbrella organization of higher education in Europe with 777 members from 45 states;
UniAdrion – University network with the goal to maintain lasting cooperation among Universities and research centers in Adriatic – Ionian basin;
IUC Dubrovnik – Regional University Network with the headquarters in Dubrovnik;
AINSEE – Academic informative network for south-eastern Europe that provides data on higher education in southwestern Europe – scholarships, programmes, and the like;
Europa World of Learning – international guidebook through higher education institution;
BUA – Balkan Universities Association - The primary aim of Balkan Universities Association (BUA) is to determine a leading vision for the future through the universities, the libraries, the research centers in Balkan region on the base of common global values by considering the necessities of the time.
Rector's forum of South-eastern Europe and Western Balkans – network for improvement of inter-institutional and international cooperation in south-eastern Europe and Western Balkans.

International Relations Office vision is to create an ‘international campus' as a meeting place of different cultures and nations where the students will feel safe to cross the border of average and step into the wonderful world of science that does not recognize any kind of limitation and does not accept fear of failure, having in mind that precisely students should be bearers of the changes.

International Relations office primarily focuses on students. By promoting student mobility, we want to encourage them to develop international competences in the globalized world that will provide them with opportunities in professional as well as in their private life. All professors and students who chose our University as their mobility destination will enrich the campus academic life and contribute to the internationalization of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar.
